Home game tomorrow night. Love it. I will never look and listen to a Marching Band the same again. It is so exciting. The kids will be playing before the game and during half-time. Finished the streamers for the Color Guard to attach to their poles during their routine. Don't know if they are using them tomorrow evening or just for competitions.
Grandpa leaves tomorrow around 5a.m. He's getting up at 3am to get himself together and organized before he has to leave. Tom's coming here and then they'll pick up Gary next. I'm sure Gary will be doing most of the driving. He's just like his dad in that respect.
I finished my second card for Operation Write Home. Check them out on luv2create4u.
Well, it's finally happened. I am officially feeling old this week. Got up Sunday to get ready for Mass and realized I couldn't put weight on my right foot. So I couldn't get to Mass. The bad part was I was supposed to lector Sunday. But I realized I couldn't get there at around 5 a.m. (I lector at 7), so I couldn't really call Barb Morgan to let her know. Felt bad about that.
Had to go on the cane Sunday. Finally was able to get to the foot and ankle specialist I go to. He thinks its Gout. I didn't think women got it. Come to find out if you are a women in your sixties and post menopausal you can develop Gout. Not happy camper. Thank heavens I am finally off that cane. I can't stand not being able to get out and around. I sure wouldn't make a good shut=in.
Tomorrow, card no. 3. Onward and upward. Want to get those cards in the mail early next week. The cards I'm doing are Fall theme, but I don't have any sentiment on them, so they're generic.
