Well, the time is here. The annual fishing extravaganza is here. Gary's packed and ready to go. Young Gary is going this year. Yea!!! I always feel better when Gary II is fishing with his dad. I know his dad is really excited to have his fishing partner back. To tell the truth, it's great just to have Gary around again. Lisa's going to have his dogs at her house, so we know they'll get plenty of TLC. The day they leave is also the first home game for the football season and FZW. Can't wait to see the Marching Band and the color guard in action again. They've worked so hard all Summer to get ready for this season. Can't believe it's Matt's last year. Senior night is going to be quite emotional for Donna especially.
School year has started and everyone has had an awesome start. Hannah is doing well in her group. She's a bit disappointed that she 's not in the same "team" as her friends. But we've told her, this will be a good thing for her. I think she's finding that out. She makes friends so easily. She'll be just fine. She's going to do dance again. This year she's also doing Lyrical Dance. So glad to see her getting back into this. She really does well. (no bias there, simple observation by a non-biased grandma.)
As you can see, there's a banner at the top of the page "Operation Write Home". It's a group that creates and sends cards throughout the year to our military serving overseas. It's such a great way to say thanks to them and all they do. I'm going to get a group of friends together to make a bunch of cards to send . I've already sent a bunch of Christmas Cards. I love this group.
More scoop to come.
