Finally, the carpet is stretched , cleaned and almost dry. Cannot wait to put the house back in order and get on with my many, many projects out of my room "Gram's Happy Place". Love that name for my craft room. Family is back from their trips. Everyone one is happy and tired, but oh so glad to be home. The puppies did so well on their first road trip. Cannot wait to see pictures. Now we're on the hunt for a great getaway for the whole family next summer. My goal now is to research all the places we came up with. The big winner was Destin, Fla. Need a house big enough all of us and the puppies. Have wanted to do this for years, but due to schedules, etc. just couldn't work it out. But it's a go now. Yea!!!! Next Summer in mid July is the plan. So hopefully it will all work out.
Next activity is celebrating our birthdays with dinner at a new restaurant we just saw on Dinners, Dives and Drive-ins (Gary's favorite cooking show). It's called the 17th Street Bar and Grill in O'Fallon, Ill. Family restaurant where everyone can eat (which means Mom can eat from the menu). Can't wait to try it.
Well, we've got a big dance recital today. Our Hannah and her cousins are going to be dancing away this weekend . Will try to post pictures .
