Am I the only person who doesn't enjoy Summer? Being hot and sticky is not my idea of having a good time. Can't wait for Fall. Cooler weather, beautiful colors. All that and heaven too. Starting to think about what I'm doing with the Fall decorating. It gets my mind off the Summer Season. I've entered another swap. This one is called Krazy Kard Swap. Only have to make 2 cards this time. Just make them crazy. Right up my alley.
I've got a whole week to just do my thing since the kids are on vacation visiting in'laws. No grandkids just "hanging out" this week. Love it when they do that. Gary loves them coming over tooo. We are stocked up on all the snacks and goodies they and their friends like. So , of course, grandpa is in his glory with the snacks.
Got a busy several days ahead of us. We're getting the carpet stretched where it's buckling in the entry area. Which means everything off walls, out of curio and general putting away and out of breakable reach. They will be knee kicking against the walls to stretch and tack it down. Hency all breakables get put away. Then after that , we'll have the carpet cleaned. Which means more moving and picking up, etc. After that, we'll be heading away for a short trip just to get away.
Can't wait til next weekend. Hannah's "hip hop dance recital" will happen. Haven't seen her dance in a while. Looking forward to it.
Well, I'm off to do some Krazy Kards.
